Township Manager

Whitpain Township functions under generally accepted principles of the Council-Manager form of government. The Township Manager is appointed by the Board of Supervisors and serves as the chief administrative officer of the township. 

The Township Manager is responsible for carrying out all policies and programs established by the Board of Supervisors and for directing and supervising the administration of all departments and functions. The manager also prepares the preliminary budget and submits it to the Board of Supervisors for consideration. For more information, view Township Budgets.

Whitpain Township places great importance on sharing information and effective communication with residents and businesses.
