Through this program, Whitpain Township hopes to educate and inspire local property owners to voluntarily engage in a conservation-oriented approach to yard care. The goal of the program is to preserve Whitpain’s natural environment by promoting native plants, stormwater management, composting, bird-friendly activities and other related practices. The Township also intends to officially recognize property owners who actively practice a wide variety of environmental conservation techniques on their property.
The Whitpain Sustainable Property program addresses 6 key aspects of a Sustainable Property:
All Whitpain residents may apply for the program by completing an online application that will take less than 15 minutes to complete. APPLY NOW.
If you score 65% or higher, you will qualify for:
Metal Whitpain Sustainable Property yard sign
Recognition at a Board of Supervisors’ meeting
Recognition on the Whitpain Township EAC webpage
