The Board of Supervisors, along with Police Chief Ken Lawson, presented recently retired Police Communications Operator and Specialist Kathy Stong with a proclamation recognizing her 23 years of service.
Originally hired as a night shift dispatcher in January of 1995, she was promoted to the position of Supervising Police Communications Operator in May of 2006. She served in this capacity until she retired on August 1, 2018.
