From The EAC: Holiday String Lights Collection Starts December 1

Holiday Lights Recycling

When: December 1, 2023 - January 15, 2024

Where: Township Building, Police Station Lobby

What: Non-working string lights only

Starting to take down those lights? Finding light strands that aren’t working anymore? Don’t throw them out, recycle them! The EAC will collect non-working lights until January 15th. Place your non-working light strands in the designated bins at the Township Building’s Police Station Lobby.   

What can you do with lights that are working but you are not using anymore? Donate them! Look to friends and family who may want them, give away on Facebook Marketplace or consider donation sites like Goodwill, Green Drop, and Restore.
