| Whitpain Township Emergency Information Guide
This Emergency Information Guide is provided by the Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors to our residents during this national heightened state of alertness.
This guide is intended to provide guidance to our residents prior to an emergency being declared in Whitpain Township or a surrounding community.
Please review this handout and help us help you by being better prepared in the event of an emergency.
Emergencies can be considered, man made, natural and in the form of terrorist attacks.
By reviewing the information enclosed, we hope to better inform our residents in Whitpain on what, when and how to protect themselves in emergency situations.
The Township does ask that the residents help us in keeping Whitpain a safe and secure community.
Residents are asked to report any suspicious activity to the police immediately. This could be as simple as a suspicious person working on a utility pole, gas main or even a fire hydrant. If you think they dont belong there, call the police. If an individual looks out of place in your neighborhood, call us. Our professional police officers will check the individual for the proper credentials and verify that they do belong there.
You can call Whitpain Police at 610-279-9033 or through 911.
It is everyones responsibility to remain vigilant during these trying times, however, working as a team, residents, business owners and local officials a like, we can help keep Whitpain a safe community.
If you should require additional information from our Township officials, Please feel free to contact Whitpain Township Emergency Management Coordinator, David M. Camarda at (610) 277-2400 or
email dcamarda
The Township is always open to suggestions on how best to keep our citizens as updated as possible. Your comments are always welcome.
