Tree Giveaway Set For September 27

The Township’s Annual Tree Giveaway, which usually takes place in April, has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 27 at 8 a.m. at Prophecy Creek Park.

This giveaway is open to Whitpain Township residents only and proof of residency is required.

Residents will be eligible to receive up to three trees (two shade trees and one flowering tree) as part of this program.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, residents will be asked to remain in their vehicles at all times. Members of the Shade Tree Commission will check-in each participant and take their tree order. Volunteers will then load trees into vehicles for residents. Mulch and deer protection for tress will also be available.

All trees, mulch and deer protection are on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
